Lyle Landon’s career in publishing and media required lots of writing – magazine articles, enewsletters,
TV news and grant writing. Knowing she had a theatrical background she was asked to write a play for a
women’s play festival in 2016 and has been writing plays ever since. A number of Her short plays have
been performed on stages in New Jersey and Manhattan.
After moving to Florida in 2022, she joined the Sarasota Area Playwrights Society. Her play, Six Feet Apart (originally written for Zoom during COVID) was a finalist in the Theatre Odyssey Short Play Festival and performed at Asolo in June 2022.
